About Us

Lepetit Ensemble was founded in Cambridge in 2018 by professional singer Ute Lepetit-Clare (www.ute-lepetit-clare.co.uk).

After moving to the UK Ute started organising concerts in the Cambridge area. She specialises in creating semi staged programmes.

The first programmes created were for adults (Spirit of Spring, Shakespeare Love Program, Emily Dickinson), but Ute soon fell in love with creating classical music productions for children (Hansel and Gretel, Spooky Teatime, Puss in Boots).

Lepetit Ensemble now performs this varied repertoire of adult and children productions.

Her artist team includes singers, actors, dancers, musicians, composers and changes from one production to the next, giving each its own character. This creates innovative and unique programmes.

You can see us perform at Stapelford Granary, Pavilion Room (Hughes Hall), Bateman Auditorium (Gonville and Caius College) and in other concert venues in and around Cambridge. Watch out for book festivals too!
